The Warwick University School of Engineering is one of the largest of its type in the UK. There are
approximately 130 academic and teaching staff, 300 research staff, and 1,200 postgraduates following
taught programmes or undertaking research.
The major areas of research within the Electronic and Electrical Division (EED) include the following
topics, all of which are relevant to the project: - Wireless Optical and Radio Communications, Digital
Signal and Image Processing, Systems Modelling and Control, Silicon Sensors, Ultrasonic Transducers and
